Kitchen and table

Family cookbooks, fundraiser cookbooks, cookbook manuscripts, bake logs and a kitchen’s own recipe manual.

A recipe card is a finding waiting to happen: a title, a story, a list, a method and a note in the margin about what Grandma actually did. These recipes turn a drawer of cards, a year of bakes or a restaurant’s station binder into a cookbook you can search for any ingredient and read at the stove on the iOS app, now in TestFlight beta.

Food writing carries real responsibilities. Every recipe on this shelf lists the major allergens, cooks meat to USDA safe temperatures, and leaves canning and preserving to tested recipes from the USDA and the National Center for Home Food Preservation.
