Books and writing

Technical books, novels, worlds, memoirs and the notebooks behind them. know.sh holds the research and the reference; the prose stays yours.

A book is two things at once: the text a reader sees, and the reference its author keeps so the text stays right. The first lives in your manuscript tool. The second is where know.sh earns its place. Each chapter, character, place or version gets a research document; each fact you must not contradict gets a numbered finding; the A–Z index gathers every name you use, so a character, a place or an API call leads to each page that mentions it.

The recipes on this shelf keep your assistant, whichever you use, in the clerk’s chair. It looks things up, finds contradictions, lists what is missing and drafts questions. They do not write your book, and each recipe says where the line sits.
